Innovation Summits for Revenue Growth

Challenge

Innovator was tasked to work with SCCC’s team to identify low hanging fruits and early wins as part of effort to double business unit revenue in three years.

Solution

Our approach was to organize an “Innovation Summit”, bringing together engineers and commercial managers to define challenges, generate options and prioritise early win projects. We employed Design Thinking and Rapid Consensus to get the creative juices flowing, and to support the group in escalating commitment towards the project ideas.

Result

The two-day exercise resulted in identifying 20+ early win projects amounting to over USD 330k potential gross revenue amounts that the organization could tap within only 12 months (conservative) estimate. Annual follow-ups from our consultants indicate that the team is moving on target with the implementation of those projects.
